Weekly Notices - 8 June 2025
I do love and care for you very much. I’m very grateful to God for bringing me to Christchurch, to you. T is very touched by your love for her too.
John the raging Baptist clearly said that Jesus was going to Baptise us in The Holy Spirit (Matthew 3, Mark 1, Luke 3 and John 1 (I’m naughty just giving you the chapter, my subtle way of making you read search the scriptures :)
Jesus absolutely emphasised that He wants us to be baptised in the Holy Spirit (John 16 v 7 in particular but all through chapters 14 & 16 (+ 15v26) Luke 24v49. Jesus explains, present tense meaning today very carefully the character of The Holy Spirit.

On Sundays we say “Hear what the Spirit is saying to us, the church”
Every time we open the scriptures we need to ask The Holy Spirit to open our eyes and ears so that we see and know and obey because we love Him.
The Book of the Acts is very much the Acts of God The Holy Spirit
The references below very clearly demonstrate that The Person of the Holy Spirit was understood after the church was born Pentecost
