Regular Services
Church services in both contemporary and traditional styles are offered in the three churches that make up the Hornby Anglican Parish; based in Hornby, Templeton and West-Melton. On months that have a 5th Sunday the Parish comes together for a single combined service. The details of each service can be found below.
SUNDAY
10.30am Sunday Service
St Columba's Church, Hornby

A contemporary service with songs and Holy Communion. The sermon is in an evangelical, low-key style. Music is led with guitar. There is a children's programme run fortnightly during the service, and an activity corner at the back of the church.
There is morning tea after the service where everyone is welcome.

9am Sunday Service
St Paul's Church, West-Melton

A family-friendly contemporary service with songs and Holy Communion. The sermon is in an evangelical, low-key style. Music includes some recorded songs and some played on the electric organ. An activity area for children is available at the back of the church.
There is morning tea after the service where everyone is welcome.

Sunday Evening Service
St Saviour's Church, Templeton

4pm in May - August, followed by soup and rolls
A family-friendly contemporary service with songs and Holy Communion. The sermon is in an evangelical, low-key style. Music includes some recorded songs, some Taizé-style (medatative) music and music played on the electric organ. An activity area for children is available at the back of the church.

If there is a 5th Sunday in a month, we have a single combined morning service for all three churches, with the location moving between the churches so just check the News Page to find the details. Children are welcome to stay during the service and there is an activity table at each church.
There is a shared lunch after the service where everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring a plate.
