The waves crashed over the Boat!
The men were terrified as they watched the waves continue to crash over their boat! The boat rocked from side to side and wouldn't stop! Again and again! But in the corner of the boat their friend slept peacefully! He appeared to be of no help or care!
Do you sometimes feel life is like the waves crashing over you? Continually coming over your life, effecting you day after day?
You're not alone!
The last month has been a bit of a blur for myself and my family. My Dad was in hospital then my Mum went in straight after! It was a worrying time. They are both recovering now, but only because of Jesus answering our prayers.
At times we wondered, but Jesus kept our faith and trust in Him strong! He calmed the stormy sea! When we thought Jesus was sleeping we called out to Him, like the men in the boat. Please Lord wake up, and help us! Jesus stood up and said to the storm, 'Be still!' The sea became calm.
That's what Jesus did for my Mum and Dad. We prayed, many prayed, then the healing came! Thank You Lord!
At times like these, your faith can become stronger, so be thankful for small steps in the storm. Be encouraged today.
May God bless you. Karen Ede.

Prayer of the Day: Grant, we pray, O God, that we, who believe your only-begotten One, our redeemer, ascended this day to heaven, may also in heart and mind there continually dwell; through Jesus Christ who is alive with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
