Weekly Notices - 19 October

Dear family in Jesus

Isn't it so true that sometimes/often(?) we give up our lives with Active work whilst all around us people are thirsty for something more in life, that can only come with knowing, really knowing Jesus. We can be seduced into wasting the life Jesus won for us in our rest-less activities.

We are actually called to be entirely Jesus's. When we give him our life, our heart, we give him all that we are, after all He paid for it once for all of us, on that cross. We can fully accept His offer of forgiveness, and truly repent. And then He gives us His gift of life in Him and with Him here on His earth and then in heaven (if we are faithful to our relationship with him).

He does not call you and I to special work; He calls us to Himself. Hear what Alice is saying to us this morning @St Paul’s West Melton or ask her for a copy of her epistle.

What am I?

Abraham commenced it

Moses commanded it

Malachi continued it

Paul counted it

Jesus commended it

 What Am I?
