Don Pilgrim made the final pilgrimage.

Partway through his long planned pilgrimage in the North Island, Don had another brain bleed and not long after Justine and Amos and Alice flew up to be with him, he passed peacefully to his Saviour, and to our Saviour.

We can be jealous that he got there before us. See you when we get there too Don.

Our Brother in Christ Donald Pilgrim's Funeral will be held at St Nicholas's Church Barrington Street at 2pm on the Saturday the 2nd of August. For those of us inclined to send flowers, Justine and children are suggesting Hinewai Reserve on Banks Peninsula would love donations in Dons name, it's a favourite place of Don’s.

Next Sunday 3rd August at our 11am St Columba's Hornby service, a young Christian Palestinian man born and raised in Gaza Palestine (just like Jesus was in Nazareth)  will be sharing his testimony and his story of life there. He and his family came to New Zealand seeking safety away from the war. (All are welcome to the service but please, no visitors who may have any strong political beliefs as it's hard at times being a Christian Palestinian in Christchurch let alone facing any possible opposition to what he might be sharing about Hamas for example.) Questions in advance ARE requested by him, not so that he can filter out any tough ones, but as he says, so he can share in such a way that covers what we are wanting to know about life there. It promises to be quite an eye opener, perhaps similar to St Peter and St Silas and St Barnabas & St Paul’s reports of gentiles responding to the Gospel in their day?!

Be aware,  Be awake for the sake of any children you know. Want help in how to help kids be aware of porn temptations. Go to netsafe.org a NZ SAFE guarding community organisation, its been around for about 25 years. Evil lurks and is prowling around like a lion ready to pounce and devour young and old alike.

"XAI’s 12+ Chatbot Designed to “Be Explicit” and “Go Full Literotica”

TRIGGER WARNING: Blog contains images of sexualized chatbot; images have been censored but are still suggestive

Do you know a 12-year-old? Maybe your child, or younger sibling, or niece or nephew?   Imagine that 12-year-old experimenting with an AI chatbot – as the majority of children do – and the chatbot saying it’s horny. That it gets sexually aroused by being choked. And proceeding to roleplay sexually explicit bondage scenes with the child.    Well, this imaginary scenario is all too possible. Because xAI’s chatbot offers an A.I. companion that does exactly that. And the chatbot is rated on the Apple App Store as appropriate for users 12+.

Love in Christ, Patrick
