Weekly Notices - 14 September 2025

Dear parishioner

Hoping you had a good week With Jesus? πŸ˜‡

New Zealand rural churches have found that the following things are bringing other people closer to Jesus:

  • 😊 the church accepts a very real need to change

  • 😊 the church is willing to put the needs of children and their family before their own needs and especially before their own preferences

  • 😊 the church is hungry to develop lay leadership for worship and other new initiatives

  • 😊 the church has put the focus on a particular age range of children in the first instance

  • 😊 a few people not considering themselves to be children's workers have been prepared to " give it a go".

  • 😊 parishioners have been willing to accept seemingly "radical" change to their services and to embrace all newcomers

Our response will either show signs of being resuscitated or a worsening of our condition despite Doctor Luke's efforts to write out Jesus's prescriptions as Good News for us πŸ€πŸ€—πŸ«‘

In his grip

Patrick
